Our redemption is in Christ and is free. It is not only free, but it is also eternal:
“Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us” (Hebrews 9:12).
What we have in Christ is an eternal redemption! Christ’s bodily resurrection is the assurance we have that all our sins have been forgiven. In other words, the resurrection of Jesus confirms the work of redemption:
“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17).
