In order for faith to work, it must be in two places. It must be in your heart and in your mouth.
Take the time to deposit and meditate the scripture or scriptures that God has given you.
That is how you get it into your heart. Then begin to believe it.
Jesus said, “you must not doubt in your heart”, He never said “you must not doubt in your head” (Mark 11:23).
Faith will work in your heart even with doubt in your head.
Your faith in God will override doubt.
You can’t stop the birds from flying over your head but you can stop them from making a nest in your head.
You can’t stop bad thoughts from coming into your mind but you can stop them from staying there. You can cast them down.
Just say, “That’s not my thought”.
2 Corinthians 10v3-5 NKJV
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.
Many people’s unhappiness is due to the fact that are listening to themselves rather than talking to themselves.
Start talking the Word of God to yourself.
Speak life to your life and don’t succumb to negative thoughts and emotions.
